Yaa--ay! Its a HOLIDAY!
It has been a while since I really rested. Been pretty caught up with work lately like working on the weekends which was really pathetic. Was so exhausted and drained out. Thank God, today is a holiday. Been sleeping till 12 noon(awww...thats a luxury to me) before hubby decided to wake me up for lunch. Aww..www! I was really "konked" after attended a friend's wedding back in Ipoh last night. And when we came back home last night after the wedding, accompanied hubby to watch his favourite Arsenal against Chelsea. Did not manage to stay awake for the whole game, the bed was just so comfy that after the half-time, I fall asleep in just few seconds. Hubby was of coz' so into the game, cheering his team whenever they missed a goal or vice-versa. Even though I did not watch the whole game till the end, I was secretly hoping that Arsenal will win. Too many people supporting Chelsea d!Hah!!
Ok...Ok...where was I? Why I'm talking about football here...??*scratching my head. And oh ya, about my friend's wedding. Seriously, this month I was invited to 5 weddings altogether and my weekends are fully booked. My pockets are dry too. Haha! I was just wondering to myself, this month must be a good month then to have so many friends having it on this month. Had a conversation with my colleague the other day and was jokingly said to her when I'm going to hear wedding bells soon from her? Her response was, have to wait for "dragon" year first, only "ong"...I was puzzled initially but was even more puzzled when she told me even when expecting a child, if possible to make sure the child is born in the year of dragon preferably. Huh??That serious? I didn't know that. That was really something pretty new to me. Hmmm...I wonder whats the significance of it?Didn't manage to ask my colleague more about it coz' her bf came and off she went. Totally forgot about it till yesterday, after my friend's wedding. Talk about Chinese custom...confusing!

AIYO....MY HEELS!

After work, I went to Ikano just to pass my time while waiting for Jon to meet up with me.(It was suppose to be window shopping only). But I ended up spending about 4 hours walking while shopping at the same time. I just have to admit that I have a very low self-control. I guess I'm better in controlling my spending when I am with Jon. Sigh....After 4 hours of walking and shopped at the same time, I felt my whole body ached especially my heels. Yup, been walking around in my 3 inch shoes for *gasp..4 HOURS, alone. Hah! Serve me right!

I shopped happily, ignoring my heels need attention too. :( Came back home, body and legs still aching. But the end result was really worth it even with the "aching". At least I have bought a few stuff for myself. - ( Me beaming with pride!)...Seriously, it was worth it for every cents that I spent plus the aching . Will worry about the bills later. Hehe...

WHAT IS HAPENING?
There are 2 things that really bother me. One is the "weather" and the other one is "traffic". The weather here is practically strange. Either its really really hot or it can't stop raining like no tomorrow. And somehow that leads to traffic jam. Once it rains, "Malaysian" drivers tend to be overly cautious, I mean come on, do they need to drive at 20-30km/hr? Thats suicide! Imagine we "other" drivers got to trail behind them for like a few kilometres away. Thats why the traffic is horrendous! Yalar, understand that we need to be more careful when we are driving on slippery roads, but sometimes, there are incidences where they just drive super-slow even if it only drizzles. I just can't understand human behaviour. Thats the reason I did not take up anthropology, something which I couldn't figure it out myself. And oh ya, the funny part was like today, perfect example, it rained as usual, traffic was bad, cars were moving very slow and there was this guy in front of me driving typically slow so I overtook him. He was not happy after I did that. He was honking at me a few times(like I bothered) but what irritated me was he put his highlight to me. Hmmpp...hhh....

KIDS....ADORABLE!

Celebrated Daniel's birthday yesterday. He is one of my children in my cell (children church). His parents blessed all of us with lotsa food and they gave away nicely packed party pack for each of the children, including me. At first I was too shy to receive it, but hehe....at the end I took the party pack too. I felt like a young child again. Lovely!

GASP....THANK GOD I'M ALIVE!
Had a very bad experience today. While I was driving back to my office, I needed to make a left turn but to my horror....*gasp......the brake was faulty. I could not brake so I just have to let go of my accelerator and hoping that the car can stop slowly, by its own. Never in my life I had earnestly prayed to God. Well, it did eventually, my car stopped but it was in the middle of LDP. Thank God I did not collide with the car in front of me. But it was a frightful incident. I got honked and honked by inconsiderate people. Lagi stress I tell you! Blood pumping very hard, heart beating so fast and both my palms and face were sweating. My mind went blank for a couple of seconds before I decided to do the the right thing - put on my hazard lights. I tried to start the car a few times before if finally moved. Managed to drive it all the way to the nearest workshop and got it fixed. I was really thankful that my life was spared and I was not speeding. If I have done the opposite, I could not ever imagine how worse can it be.

Not feeling quite well for the past few days, sore throat and etc....And it really hurts when I try to swallow my saliva....the pain was unbearable....Been drinking a lot of water, but it doesn't help that much. And this is just the beginning, I can't imagine the ulcers growing bigger each day...NOOO....OOOO....I probaby can't talk by then. Gosh....
Going to "collapse" soon....its already late but just can't sleep, having trouble breathing (blocked nose)...sigh....
And oh ya, spotted a frog hiding near the door just now. Jon spotted it. Phewww....sprayed it with lots of the "aerosol" thingee...Jon shooed it away....I can't bear looking at the green ugly looking creature.....Just hate them....The sight of it makes me go eooww...www.....

Since it was a long holiday break, I finally managed to upload some of my wedding photos. (the data CD given by Covershots were all in different file format, so gotta convert all of them...sigh.....took days to convert it, but thanks to Jon, he did all these without complaining...hehe). Don't ask me how to convert it, coz' seriously I do not know how altho' I graduated in IT, haha! But anyway, here are some of the wedding photos uploaded . Do take a peek at our wedding website(click at the link) due to this blog's space consraint.

OMG.....THAT EXPENSIVE?

Jon and I went out scouting for good bargains for a baby pram. NO...OOO, I'm not expecting! We want to bless this couple from our cell who are expecting a baby girl by probably middle of December. We were shocked to see that an average baby pram costs about RM600 - RM1000++. This much for a baby pram??? Even some "ceh kai" pram in term of its design costs about RM600++ (after discounted rate). We went practically every shops that sells baby prams. And each shop never failed to amaze us with the price offered.

We even went to Parkson to check out the price. It was slightly better than any other shops but still the price was nearly RM500. We thought of just buy it but then again it did not look like it costs RM500. I mean, have you ever bought something so expensive but it doesn't have that "expensive" look? Like, would you buy a real LV bag which will definately burn a big hole in your pocket when the same "original-look-alike" LV bag can be found in Chow Kit Road? I dunno about you guys, but I wouldn't.

After been walking like nearly an hour on my 2 1/2 inch shoes, I decided to give up when our last resort, was JUSCO. To our surprise, there were a few baby prams cost below RM400 and we bought one. The design was nice and it looks presentable than the other one we saw in Parkson or any other shops. We couldn't imagine any parents who would just fork out thousands of dollars just to buy a baby pram? We did came across a baby pram costs about nearly RM3500. Yup...ITS RM3500!! Must be mad to buy it. But, all in all, it was a fruitful day. Got ourselves a decent-looking baby pram and the price was OK.(I might say that it was still a bit pricey though for a baby pram)...Haha....Well, all I can say is that it is no joke to raise a child!

CELEBRATING HUBBY'S BIRTHDAY!

Hubby, dearest Jon grew a year older on 19 Oct. He had been treated free "makans" for 3 days in a row and me as being his wife, I had a share of it as well. Cool eh!! On last Wednesday, went out with his parents to Outback Steak House in Bangsar Village and had a great time bonding with his family. Ever since he moved out from his parents' house to stay on his own, we hardly have time to sit down and talked. It was a fine dinner afterall.
Next day, Jon took leave and spent time with our ex-Premarital Counsellors a.k.a our 3rd set of parents. Those who had attended my church wedding recently will know who they were. They were the ones who counselled us before we got married and got us married as well. Hubby had a great time skating, bowling etc. I was not with them as I need to work. Awww....i miss those. Jon shared his first time skating experience on the Sunway skating rink which I couldn't help but laughing all the way. He fell down while skating and there was this guy who helped him getting up. But to my hubby's shocked look, he addressed my hubby as "Uncle, are you OK ar?". Haha! What a day to be reminded that he was getting older. After work, I joined them for dinner. Had another big "makan" at Tony Romas and the ribs were one of its kind, the best ribs we had tasted so far. Hmmm...yummy! Their made-from-scratch Onion Loafs was delicious was well. Thumbs-up for their shrimp scampi pasta too. Everything was perfect, from the decor, food and the waiter was very chatty as well. Jon got another disappointed look when the waiter congratulated him on his birthday and told him that he was much younger than him. Well, that was not a pleasant remark. But well, he was only 18(thats why!) but he looked much older for his age. Errr....Jon did not need anyone to remind him of his age again after the "Uncle" experience. Hah!
Yesterday, we were treated for another free "makan" by our cell members. Celebrated for 2 other cell members' bdays as well. Went to New Paris Restaurant. Price was reasonable and the food was good. After the meals, the bday guy and gals were surpised with cupcakes replacing the traditional birthday cake. The pic(top left) represents the 3 cell members with each cupcake individually personalised. Jon got the "football" cupcake(Arsenal is his fav club) and the other 2 were "dress" cupcake (she's in fashion line) and the "prem" cupcake(shes expecting a child this December)And woah...hh....the taste is as good as they look. I had probably put on 2 extra kilos these past few days. Sigh...

Lovely cupcakes, blue cupcakes for the guys and the pink cupcakes for the ladies.

Hubby had one big bite of his "football" cupcake!

Posing for the camera!

LITTLE BEN....Part 2

Continuation from my previous post, I could not upload all the photos, probably due to space constraint by Blogspot. But anyhow, here are some of the photos of little Ben! He is so cute, even his room is cuter! His parents decorated his room and it does reflects little Ben's personality, with pictures of him all over the room. I guess when both of the parents are graphics and fashion designers, the baby room tends to be DIFFERENT from other babies' rooms. Hehe..

Pic (Above) : Different poses of Little Ben make up as the placemats on the table. Cool huh!

Little Ben in real life-size photos pasted all over the room. (The photos look so real and the room looks so personalised...awww....)

LITTLE BEN!

Was at one of my cell member's house last night, celebrating her birthday which was quite long overdue. Went to the house and have a great time bonding and fellowship a.k.a "fei lo ship" Have a very "malaysianize" dinner. We brought a few packets of "belacan fried rice" - shrimp paste fried rice, mmm...mmm....yummy to share among 7 of us. Just a simple dinner, mainly just to visit my friend after so long. But we were blessed with more food by the birthday gal, remember the jingle "755 25 25" --- yup, its Pizza Hut! So, we stuffed ourselves with food and for dessert, we have Hersheys Cookies N' Cream....oooo...oooo, lovely! Being a chocoholics myself, anything "chocolatie", I'm in. I just LOVE chocolates but weird and strange, I don't enjoy eating chocolate ice-cream. Don't ask me why, I have problem identifying that as well. My taste bud just doesn't get along with chocolate ice cream. Hehe...
Some photos that we took:
The Birthday Gal with hubby and little Benjamin!
A mooncake to replace the traditional birthday cake. Something out of the ordinary in conjunction with the Mooncake Festival!
Look at those Coke collection! Her hubby collected these from all over the world and there's one given by Jon and myself from NZ just to add to his collection. Quite easy to spot it, the only black Coke tin! Go find it!

ARRG..HH..MY CAR CONKED AGAIN!
Gosh...my car decided to "conk" again even after numerous "check-up" & "treatment" given. (my car had been in and out from the workshop for more than 4 times)...Urrggh.....woke up yesterday morning and decided to drive to work myself. But my car won't start. So FRUSTRATED!! Then, I had no choice but to wake my hubby up from bed. He was sort of grouchy and irritated(can't blame him) but he still got up and managed to get me to work on time. Phew...ww....what a relief! Thought that he would take a long time to change into proper clothes. I mean seriously, I would not want him to be wearing his pyjamas to send me to office, rite? But I do pity him as well. He was not feeling that well the night before so really appreciated his sacrifices....
I really do not know what is happening to my car. It "behaves" well each time I bring my car back from the workshop. But give it let say, 3 days later, my car just does not want to start. Hmmphh....its really getting on my nerve. Thankfully, my dad is gracious enough to lend his car to me for these few days. It really helps a lot!
My car is only 3 years old and this happen. My hubby, Jon commented earlier that I was not taking really good care of my car. I mean come on, do I look like like a person who is obsess about my car and will send it to the workshop each time i pass the mileage of 5000km? As long as it is still moving, nothing much to worry about which errr....of coz lead to this complications to my car in the long run la! *sigh...shrugged my shoulder-regretting on my "don't care attitude" Oh well...probably I'm just plain LAZY!!
Hopefully, my car will not give me any more problems after this service. Ironically, I'm still servicing my car loan but I can't drive my car. Hah!! Contemplating of changing my car though but don't think its a good idea to buy now coz' there were rumours saying that car price will go down by next year. But then again, I don't think its wise to change car coz it involves more money and I have to start servicing the loan all over again. Naa---ahh, hopefully my car will be in good condition after the service and I can't wait to finish paying up my car loan in 2 more years. Yoo...hooo, by then, I'll be debt-free, I'm going to be rich!' *wink

THERE GOES MY FREEDOM....

Today is my first day at work after 3 months "brekkie" after my wedding. Finds it very hard to wake up this morning and worst part was I need to report myself in KL since my new branch has yet to be officially open in Kota Damansara. Was caught up with terrible jam, thank God my hubby sent me to work today so managed to get some sleep in the car...hehe!

But I kinda miss my long break after the wedding. I can wake up anytime I like, cook whatever I feel like eating and go out whenever I feel like it. But now, not anymore. I have to wake up at about 7:45am every morning and face the biggest challenge every morning - THE JAM! It was still alrite for me coz my house is quite near to my workplace but still, driving out early in the morning is a NIGHTMARE for me.

When I was helping my hubby in his business for the first 2 mths during my long break, it was pretty OK except that I did not really have much things to do, pretty much complained about it all day long and then I decided to take a month break after that and just stay at home and reflecting on what I want to do next. Well back then, I was really dissatisifed and bored and my phone bills was rocketing high coz' I had been making calls to friends quite frequently to release my boredom until there were times, when some of them did not pick up my calls. I wonder why??hehe....I guess they were just busy and not running away from me by ignoring my calls. After getting back to work today, how I wish I can just stay at home and do what I want. Oh gosh, I'm a pretty confused person, I'm pretty much can't decide what I want to do. I just need my FREEDOM back!!!

Oh well, I just have to continue working and see how it goes from there. Now, I'm so looking forward to every weekends so that I'm practically can do what I want ie: wake up at noon..haha!. "sigh.....what to do, need to save $$ to go shopping.....

T.H.E CARNIVAL IS BACK!

Some snapshots before he got dunked. The guy in the picture, believe it not, is the Youth Pastor, he's quite a happening guy!

What carnival? T.H.E = Terrific, Happening, Exciting Carnival organised by my church, Damansara Utama Methodist Church is carried out annually. Its more of blessing the community around our church and most importantly is for all of us(irregardless whether you are OLD or YOUNG) to have FUN, to fill up our tummies with varieties of food and MORE food. But this year, it is more meaningful as this will be the last year for me to go to T.H.E carnival back here in Tmn Sea (our present church premise is formerly the old Ruby Cinema). *Gasp*...Why? No....No, I'm not going anywhere but my church will be moving to a new place in Section 13, PJ. For those who know PJ very well, my church will be relocated to the vacant SINGER premises in Section 13, probably middle of next year. Am oh boy, I'm so excited about it. So, this year carnival is also in a way to bid goodbye to the community here after so many years. Sayonara Folks, gonna miss u lots! I'm for sure, I'm definately gonna miss my "teh si peng"-tea with evaporated milk opposite my church. Its my favourite and the best I had tasted so far. The aroma and the taste is incomparable from any other "teh si peng" in Klang Valley and that makes me come back again and again....

Ok..Ok, enough of my "teh si peng", back to T.H.E carnival. This year theme is "Malaysiaku, Warisanku" - or in plain English, "Malaysia Our Heritage". So all the stalls which were set up earlier have their own theme in accordance to the states in Malaysia. Here, you can play lotsa "kampung-styled" games like guli-guli, gasing, wau and much more. I was not brought up in the era of these popular traditional games(which means I'm still young??...hehehe) but hey, it was fun! What a day to spend my Saturday with games, food and food. (Did I just mention Food TWICE??). Here are some of the photos I took today:

Ever-smiley kiddy clown.......her face was painted by me! Hehe...not bad huh for an amateur like me! Its fun painting other people faces.

The "children face destructors" with their models!

I was helping out in the Face-Painting Booth or should I say, Hand-Painting!

Looks like so much fun sliding from up there. Too bad its only for kids.

WET MARKET, ANYONE?

This morning, I had a bonding session with my dad. And of all places, we bonded at the MARKET! Not just any market, it was the WET MARKET. Went out breakfast with him(My pork noodle was horrible, it was tasteless) and then off we were to the market. He had a list of things to buy. Mom gave the long list to him. Mom was not able to tag along coz my mom had to babysit my two nieces back at home. It was a surprise to me as Dad knew his way very well in the market, where to go, where to get the cheapest price for anything that he wanted to buy. I was impressed. I mean naturally, guys usually take what they want and just pay. Price negotiation was not their priority list, they just need to accomplish the mission assigned to them - get the things they/we wanted, pay and just GO.

Experiencing for the first time in the wet market, I can't bear the smell and the people crowding the place! It was like a war out there. Everyone shouting, bargaining and some stall owners even did promotion for their food/products they are selling. And then, a thought came to me. Will I be ready for all these? Being a housewife and etc...NO..OOO! Not now, I'm still not ready for these. Its unbearable!

Well, I do some grocery shopping but it has to be in air-cond places. I mean, its more convenient to do so, I walk and look at the products at my leisure pace and oh yes, I knew I can't bargain the prices, but look at me, do I look like I'm ready for a long negotiation/bargaining for let say half a chicken or a bundle of "siew bak choy"? Seriously NOT! And I don't usually buy groceries alone and it has to be in the mall so my hubby can tag along as well, usually we do it in the weekends when he's free. Why? So he ends up paying for it. I'm not manipulating him but just giving him the privilege to bless me..Haha! The beauty of being a wife. So extra money for me to go shopping!Woo...hoo....

TO NAG OR NOT TO NAG?
Being a wife has turned me into a big nagger. Living with someone else means I have to tolerate with him a lot. But sometimes, I just can't close one eye and pretend everything is OK. So, here is when nagging starts. I just can't help it. Probably, we women need men who listen to what we are saying and don't just pretend to listen. Strangely, I know when Jon is not listening eg: he did not do what I had communicated to him earlier even after he had nodded his head(giving me assurance that he heard me) and sometimes ingnoring me completely, turning into deaf hears and there is where I'll start to nag and I'm pretty sure he doesn't like it. But who likes to nag? Oh well, thats parts and parcel of my marriage life to you. But take the nagging away, living with someone else also means that we are learning and knowing more about each other - it can be sometimes unpredictable on what he does eg: how he likes his clothes to be folded, how he squezzes his toothpaste(it can be irritating sometimes knowing that I prefer to squeze it from the bottom and he prefers to start from the top), where he put his "stinky" socks after he comes back from work, he releases stress by playing the PS2 while ignoring me....Urgghhh.....those little little things makes me nag like an old woman and drives me crazy and I feel irritated too.
But then again, there was one time where he thought of a good defence statement about my constant nagging. He defended himself on why do I need to nag about him every little things that he does. He did point out areas which I did in his opinion irked him as well but being a gentleman as he put it nicely, he doesn't think it is neccessary to point it out and letting me know my weaknesses. Just gotta live with it and TOLERATE! You can't change a person overnight. Its a learning and adapting process.
I was silence for a while when he expressed his thoughts about me being naggy and I can't help but to ponder. What he said, was quite true. Why do I need to nag? Maybe its because I care about him? Or maybe I'm trying to change him into somebody else? So, yeah he's right. Two of us have been brought up in two different ways, two different person altogether. Marriage is not about trying to change the other person but more to learning how to be understanding, adapting and tolerate with each other. It will not be easy but both parties have to try. I still remember a sermon by Pr.Daniel the other day, marriage can only works when 2 people have the same Master, Mission and only we can be a perfect Mate for each other. So, to nag or not to nag? I guess I know the answer, but oh well.... maybe I'll start to nag less then!

YOUNG AGAIN!
I went out with 2 teenagers yesterday for dinner together with Jon. We brought them out for dinner to appreciate them coz they gave a beautiful presentation of their ballet performance at our wedding. It was fun going out with them coz they made us felt young again. I mean seriously! I can't help but reflecting back my younger days back in college time where I had such a great time. My friends and I did some crazy stuff during our college days but then again who can blame us. We were young and active. I still remembered there was one time when all of us were in the house, revising for our upcoming exam papers and suddenly, no electricity in the house. (We were staying off-campus that time). And one of my housemate suggested to go to KLIA and spent time there since there was nothing much to do in the house apart from bitten from mosquitoes. One thing led to another, we end up dressing up to go to KLIA to take some great photos there. We were posing everywhere and t think about it now, it was quite embarassing. A bunch of girls(7 of us) in a Kancil, dressing up, posing in KLIA, seriously, it was crazy. Girls out there, if you happen to read this, you know who you are! But then again, it was fun being with you guys.

Comparing now and back then, growing up from a teenager to being someone's wife, its different. I may not been doing all those crazy stuff again but its different kind of enjoyment. Now, I prefer a simple holiday getaway with Jon and once in a while we hang out with friends playing futsal, going out for "makans" with friends, childrens' church and sometimes going out with girl friends catching up with them. But it was not that easy anymore coz everyone has his/her own life now and with a busy schedule, its very hard to get everyone to agree on a date so everyone can just come out and meet up. Well, I guess, we all are going through different path of lives and knowing that some of us still keep in touch, its great.

Celebrating one of my housemate's birthday and we were posing in my room (shared with 2 other housemates)

And as usual, we were posing AGAIN! We were quite vain when we were younger!

Posing in the middle of the road in Putrajaya. Call us crazy for risking our lives. But that time, Putrajaya was not officially opened yet so practically no cars on the road. But then again, we should not take the chances! Oh well....

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD?
Few weeks after my wedding, I attended my cousin's wedding for the first time as a wedded couple. Somehow, I was really excited to witness my cousin's blessed union. I guess once you are married, the wedding vows seem more meaningful coz' I knew I was there saying my vows to Jonathan as well and vice versa. Her wedding was beautiful with her hubby rendering a self-composed song to her and I could see her in tears. The part which I really enjoyed the most was the parents apprecation. I still remembered the time I appreciated my parents and I was practically in tears. It was embarassing to cry in front of over 200 people who attended my wedding but I guess if they are good parents, no matter how old am I, I will still be touched by their great parenting all this time. Love you ma & pa! Here are some of the pictures I took at my cousin's wedding.

My radiant looking cousin. My mom was so happy for her too!

Even my little nephew want to get to know the bride and congratulate her.

Lovely cuddly bears on the bridal car.

Can't resist to carry my adorable nephew but oh boy, he is heavy.

FINALLY...

After much procrastination from my part, I finally managed to upload our honeymoon pictures and sharing some of our experiences here...
Our honeymoon was filled with lots of drama, stress and little that we know, we are both camera fanatics. We were off to NZ for our much anticipated honeymoon on 29 July 2006. Our first drama was when we were in KLIA. We reached there the earliest but somehow we were the last one to check in. Somehow, Jonathan had a terrible stomachache at the very last minute and he just had to GO. And after the quick hassling and tugging along our bags, we did manage to get onto the plane. Phew...what a relief! We stopped in Singapore for at least 2 hours waiting to transit. So, we decided to save some money by not having our dinner in Spore airport coz' we knew Air New Zealand will provide us dinner on the plane. Trying very hard not to get hungry, but at the end our tummies just gave in. We went to have a light meal in Subway and we shared a sandwich. But our tummies just didn't agree with the light meal and we end up in Burger King for another meal. So, by the time we were on the plane and dinner was served, we were quite full and we did not finished our meals. It was quite a waste coz the food was quite alrite and we did enjoy it. Oh well...what a waste. I was sitting in between of Jon and another "ang mo". Too bad he was old but then again, Jon would not had approved of me sitting beside a hunk in the first plae. Hah!! The old man was quite nice and he hardly touched his food. In my mind, I was like, "Aren't u goin' to eat that??" Oh well, I guess he was sick of plane food or just being picky. After a long tiring flight, we landed on NZ. We thought our tiredness will be gone once we stepped out of the plane. But we were WRONG! The next stressing drama unfold.

We were interrogated by the NZ custom officers and we were treated just like criminals. I was seperated from my Jonathan and we were both asked a couple of personal questions, like "Are we married? Wheres the marriage certificate?". I was like huh?? Marriage cert on our honeymoon trip?? Come on...Give us a break. Both of our session lasted about nearly 2 hours and that what I called a waste of time. Out bags were opened and all our personal stuff were taken out for public viewing. That was embarassing coz all our "honeymoon" personal stuff were publicly ransacked and taken out from the bag. Our bags were then taken for drug test and to be sniffed by a dog...What an experience...!

At then end, we found out that 5 people from our tour group were deported back to Malaysia coz they did not have any return tickets. Well, after our constant queries to our tour guide, only we found out that those people travelled all the way to NZ to work and did not plan to go back with us at the end of the trip. We were mad initially coz we were among the "suspect lists" as we were on the same tour as them and then that explained the long interrogation we had earlier.

This was my first overseas trip with Jon and this happened. I guess when people do ask me next time whether I remember my honeymoon trip, I bet I would! Woa....I mean seriously, this is what I called an experience of a lifetime, altho' a bitter one during interrogation but overall, I enjoyed the trip very much and I had so much fun with Jon. We ended up with so many pictures and we were clicking the camera all the way. I guess that is the beauty of having digital camera, we can take as many pictures as we want and delete those that we do not want later.
So do take a peek of our honeymoon pictures ya'.
